2022 Chesapeake Conservation Partnership Annual Meeting
Chesapeake WILD Stakeholder Engagement Session - February 2021
On February 23, 2021, the Partnership assisted the US Fish & Wildlife Service in convening over 120 conservation partners and stakeholders from across the watershed to exchange ideas and offer feedback on a “Framework” for guiding establishment of the Chesapeake WILD Program.
The Framework document describes program elements envisioned by the Chesapeake WILD legislation. It is also intended as an expression of the collective aspirations of conservation partners and stakeholders for the Chesapeake WILD Program.
Session participants provided broad feedback on the draft Framework, and on categories of potential conservation and restoration actions. We hope this inclusive process enables many perspectives to enrich the Framework document and positions a diverse array of organizations and communities to see themselves as integral parts of Chesapeake WILD. Please see the materials below for more information about the Program, the process, and the Framework document we are developing together.
